Not sure if I should keep vanishment or switch it with the mill curse.  Any other good U defenders?
Trying to keep this budget yet competitive.

{Increasing confusion} is always good
{Ludevic's Test Subject} is the only other blue defender.

But what to remove is the question, added the stalker/blade combo.

Only have 3 confusions, 3 test subjects

Confusion will only go up in price with the new set coming out. Buy now.
Test subject is cheap as people are afraid to sink mana into a 0/3. Lol

You could also look at side boarding  {Undead Alchemist} for matches vs creature heavy decks.

I'm hoping for some more strong defenders in the next set which would really help my infinite defenders deck. Being overrun or trampled to death is actually a big threat.

I also like to play  {Beguiler of Wills} and  {Tamiyo, the Moon Sage} hiding behind my walls, but that's starting to detract from your main idea! :P

Yeah, this deck is pretty much a way to play standard till I have all the cards to make it into a modern mill deck, the confusions will be leaving it at that time.

So far I see no reason to not take your advice.

Just firing off randomly or is that pertinent?

Well I play Bant Control religiously and I have little jace in the sideboard and he rapes decks if they don't have an answer for him.   Especially behind Angels thrags

Ah. Yeah, I hate thragtusk. Having meta breaking cards like that makes it too easy. Everyone runs the same midrange decks now because they literally are the best around. Had the same complaint about snappy.
