Honestly I'm not a fan of {Honor of the Pure}. Ya it's a good card, but I can always find something better to put in my white decks. Like {Day of Judgement} for example. Me personally, I would only play Honor in casual play.

FNM quality?
Quote from: Alaskanice on January 26, 2012, 12:02:57 PMYour 4 {fiend hunter}s give you good spot creature removal. I think you need some artifact and enchantment hate. O-rings are always great, I think there are also some 1 drop enchantment removals. Or you could throw in a {naturalize} or two since you have so much green splash.Quote from: Appleguru56 on January 26, 2012, 01:07:40 AM

I'd say it is pretty close. Your sideboard could maybe add another removal and take out a {timely reinforcements}. I have learned that 3 of them is a solid amount for taking on RDW. Maybe another O-Ring or {revoke existence}? Have you play tested that deck much?

Since you are splashing so much green, you might as well add a few {gavony township}s... maybe 2-3?
I would not add either of those lands given this is a tri-color deck and those lands will increase your odds of being mana screwed.......nice deck tho.....I would suggest {phantasmal image} and {sun Titan} they work very well together.
Either two of those, or two {moorland haunt}s. those 1/1 fliers are nasty.
Quote from: Cllzzrd on January 26, 2012, 01:26:30 PMI wouldn't put {naturalize}, {revoke existence} is better.Quote from: Alaskanice on January 26, 2012, 12:02:57 PMYour 4 {fiend hunter}s give you good spot creature removal. Quote from: Alaskanice on January 26, 2012, 09:00:33 AM. I just feel the honor could hurt more than it helps. I play alot of white. My fav thing to do is let my opponent think he's getting ahead with a nice creature advantage, and then {Day of Judgement}. I think for this deck it would also work. Because if you play some one like me, when they blow the board, you would be ready to do the same if started to get ahead. It also helps against RDW if they have a crazy start.Quote from: Karrthus on January 26, 2012, 03:55:44 AM

Actually, I won against 2 people with RDW at FNM because of {honor of the pure}. When I placed the second one down, te guy swore and gave me the game one turn later.
Quote from: Karrthus on January 27, 2012, 12:57:49 AMI think what he is trying to say is that honor of the pure is a continuous effect that bolsters all creatures on my side. Because they are originally small, the added bonuses turn my small guys into big threats. I personally would not run DOJ at all since I am the one who is trying to dominate the board in most matchups. It would wipe my field forcing me to lose all my biggest threats. I do appreciate your insight tho, I always run 4 copies of DOJ in my control decksQuote from: Alaskanice on January 26, 2012, 09:00:33 AM. I just feel the honor could hurt more than it helps.
