Augur sometimes hurts me :(
Dropped the 4th one for my 4th Forbidden Alchemy.

Seems way more effective, beat 2 Bant control decks and finally the G/W Aggro deck 2-1 I was having problems with.

How are you going to deal damage though? You've got not that many creatures, no Planeswalker support.

The Esper control decks I see have 4 {Jace, Architect of Thought}, 2 {Tamiyo, The Moon Sage} backing him up and 2 {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad} making emblems to pump up {Lingering Souls}. They run {Terminus} to keep a clean board, because that doesn't remove planeswalkers.

{Auger of Bolas} and {Snapcaster Mage} aren't going to put much damage through. 4 {Lingering Souls} isn't going to stop {Purify the Grave}, {Grafdigger's Cage} or anything else shutting down the graveyard.

How has the deck been playing? Even Esper decks with all the tech I was talking about dont do amazing either. I play Esper.

So far {Lingering Souls} is my early game control, all the meta at my LGS is Thrag Restro, blah blah.  By that time where they think can cast on me I've already found my answers with Augur and Alchemy, Supreme Verdict is almost always the 1st card I bring in, along with sever and twins for the heavy aggro.  Tested great against other Bant and U/W Control decks.

Since more testing done not sure if I should run {Duress} or {Appetite for Brains}?  Other than that sideboard seem effective, need more sweepers

{Duress}, can get rid of {Farseek} so stupid {Thragtusk} takes a turn longer and you gain tempo.
{Appetite for Brains} can just get rid of him, but doesn't work well in a mirror or against another control deck.

Appetite doesn't get rid of {Rakdos's Return} or {Sphinx's Revelation} is my thing right now.

I love cloning Thrag :/

If you love cloning things, you have 3 {Forbidden Alchemy}. You can have a 1-of clone effect and dig your deck to find it. It's the same mentality of having 1 {Supreme Verdict}, {Terminus} or {Sphinx's Revelation}

Dropped {Lost in the Mist} & {Syncopate} for 2x {Amass the Components}, makes looking for Pike so much easier.

Pack another Angel & Verdict.
Added Them both to mainboard and another charm.  Thinking about main boarding {Cyclonic Rift}x2.

Thoughts on me adding {R} for {Dreadbore} & {Rakdos's Return}?

USA control. Run red for {pillar of flame} and {bonfire of the damned}. You have all the dual lands? Mana fixing is a tight rope with USA Control

4 {Blood Crypt}
4 {Steam Vents}
4 {Hallowed Fountain}

I'm really close to doing it :/ no Bonefires tho. A playset of {Pillar of Flame} for Sideboard.

Edit: Only 1 {Clifftop Retreat} and 2 {Sulfur Falls}, playset of all the Isd set, and M13.  Lands won't be a problem just no play testing cause of work tonight.

4 color to play {Rakdos Return} and {Dreadbore} is too much. So many chances to play poorly

How would you play USA? My buddy said he'd let me get 3 Bonefires. But Augur'ing into that would suck. Pm me plz.

I had this build without angel of serenity and with entreat and I lost every match I played. It was too slow to deal with aggro and I kept getting land skrewed with midrange/ control decks

Not a big deal, just remember to keep it kid-friendly. Anyway, I really like how the deck is looking. What kind of results are you getting?

Finished 3-2-1 tied with like 4 people for 12th out of 43.  Lost to BR both games and drew with Mirror Match. Got 1 Year Membership for SCG tho lol.
