Title: Central valley players?
Post by: Raiderrob on November 24, 2012, 08:31:09 PM
Anybody from the Modesto or Merced area? Just wondering how the game stores are down there. I live about an hour from both and want an alternative place to play Fnm. Our local game store only has Fnm every other week which seems to be weeks I can't make it to play.

I'm in San Jose and there are tons of game stores here... One place does draft and standard tournaments every day and twice on weekends. Pretty sweet.

Wow that is crazy. Our shop is a sport card store that sells packs and has a few tourneys. All the singles in the store belong to one of the local players. I'm just happy we have something here even if it isn't much.

Yeah, I actually am in Merced. I go to redsky comics. It is a really chill place. We do a lot of magic stuff there, fnm every Friday, some times we draft on Sundays and we have some people that get together Mondays to play edh. U r more than welcome to come check it out next week if u want. I will be there.

I think I will actually be able to hit my local Fnm this week, but I will definitely roll down there to check it out. What time does Fnm run there? Do people show up early to trade? Thanks for responding.
