Many people are angry at the marked up price of Commander's Arsenal. However, with the new Modern Masters coming next year, is it possible for low supply rates and extremely high demand create stuff like $20 boosters, $600 dollar booster box?
Modern Masters is to get new players to play Modern, then use the influx of new cards to stabilize it. {Tarmogoyf} will still be a $100 card, the new supply will just be enough to keep up with demand.
New goyhf will be less than old goyhf though. Even if by a fractional margin
Yes, but what happens if stores only get a limited supply, and are forced to sell them at $20 a pack or raffle them away?
Then people shoot people
It was announced that it will be limited print, and stores will get limited quantities, and the reason for 24 in a box versus 36 is to encourage drafting of the set. My LGS won't even let us buy full boxes cause they are only getting like 6 boxes, and we're gonna draft them.
$60 drafts, here we come! Would it be worth it, I wonder? I mean, even if its a set packed full of rare and mythic gems like goyf, its going to hard to justify that kind of money for a draft unless the commons have dollar value somehow, or the uncommons are 5 bucks a piece, or each rare is a $10-er with no duds like every set has a few of (looking at you, {Conjured Currency})
Has much of the set been spoiled? I think Goyfy-poo is the only one i've heard. I pray the uncommons are at least stuff like {path to exile} - staples, and pricey ones.
You'll see kitchen finks and other expensive uncommons like it

Kitchen finks will be a rare. Geralfs messanger was and its the exact opposite of it, so it will b a rare

That isn't the exact logic behind how they'll do the rarity scale. They'll most likely do the ratifies for the cards based on how many decks use them and whether or not it's a playset or 3 of, etc.
I sure hope that I can even buy a pack. Are these really limited?
Just read somewhere that Modern Masters pack would retail at $6.99 USD. Even though I know some great cards will be reprinted, is that too much for a booster?
Packs are $7 a piece. Thats retail, you shouldnt see that marked up like you do with the FTV and such. Boxes are something like $180 with 24 packs in each. My LGS will be drafting it, so you figure it will be something like $22-24 to draft.

Each pack has a foil. I say it will most assuredly be worth it. Although I remember reading that the surprise demand for Commander's Arsenal has them rethinking the print run for Modern Masters.
If the supply is low, the packs will sell far above the MSRP. It's supposed to be draft-able and Wizards has 2 events built around it. It all depends on how much product is put out. Those packs could be worth $14+ if all your LGS gets is 1 booster box.
