Title: Double Strike
Post by: Trunksthemighty on November 24, 2012, 01:47:24 AM
Is double strike considered 2 deprecate attacks? Like if a creature gets buffed for attacking or dealing damage does it get that buff twice?

A 2/2 with say  {Giant Growth} with double strike will hit altogether for 10, but he does not get that boost twice

The creature only attacked once, but hits two separate times (once during first strike damage and again during normal damage).

Because he only actually attacked once, he will only gain the benefit of effects that trigger "when this creature attacks" once as normal. So he will only get +1 from an exalted trigger, and {Geist of st Traft} will still only produce 1 angel if he has double strike.
