Me and a friend just played a game, thinking it would be fun to switch decks. I had him down to 1 life and an empty board while I say at 18 with 8 creatures and {vraska, the unseen}, and one assassin token out. He had 1 card in his hand. Next turn, he pulled {traitorous instinct} and played it on the assassin token. Then he dropped a {teleportal}...and I had no responses in my hand...

Wasn't it a bit of over-commitment to the board? If you had such a good control over the board, why get so many creatures down and why spawn an assassin?
I had spawned the assassins as soon as I could. He was at 15 then. And he kept the plains walkers loyalty low. It took that large board to bring him down to 1
