I like the flexibility of {Unsummon} if you want to save your own creatures. Although losing one life is a small enough price.

How about {Repulse}. It only costs 1B, 1C, and no life loss.

You mean 2U?  Three mana is a little high for a control element IMO.

Yes, I meant one Blue and  two colorless. Yes, three is a little expensive, but you do draw a card, so that makes up for it, many times.

Hmm, interesting. {Repulse} is an interesting card. Specially for EDH. The thing with a bounce spell is that unless you play your cards right, all your doing is trading a card for your opponents time. With a true counterspell, you're getting time AND wasting another card of your opponents.
