Title: Corpsejack menace and primordial hydra
Post by: Hamstar on November 12, 2012, 01:03:59 PM
Hello. So if {Corpsejack menace} is already on the battlefield and I cast {primordial hydra} where X=2, would he come in with 4 because of the counter doubling, or does the ability  only affect counters placed on him after he resolves? I know on the upkeep the combo would quadruple the counters, i'm just unsure of what happens when the hydra enters the battlefield. Thanks.

Actually on upkeep you triple the counters. To double the counters you place a number equal to the number of counters already on the hydra and corpse jack doubles the counters placed so you triple the counters on upkeep. Everything else is right though.
