So I haven't been able to look at the forum much these past two weeks. Here and there. Can't waste the battery life on my phone bc I had no power. Well, I finally got it back last night and it is the best feeling in the world. I learned to appreciate everything that we take for granted after two weeks with no power.
Anyone else every get that feeling before? What was humbling moment?

I haven't been through anything as devastating as Sandy, but I know that feeling. Hurricane Ike messed up my town with crazy winds a few years back, and I lost power for the better half of a week. And earlier this year there was a flash storm I happened to be out in when it hit - never seen so much airborne debris with my own eyes before, was like in movies or on tv.
Glad that your back and you are safe.
Can't say it was devastating but a couple years ago me and a friend were stuck in my house for 3 weeks because the school was closed for the snow.
