I am a standard guy trying to get into modern with my original idea of giving opponents creatures. It is called "It's On the House."

If possible, I would like some feedback on it. I played a few games online. Won some, lost some...but overall it feels too vaunerable to removal. I often got my opponent to like 3 life but died because they killed my guys.

Any help is welcomed. Thanks :)

{ghostly flicker} and {cloudshift} come to mind. Sideboard {silence} could be deadly here allowing you that extra turn to set up. Have you considered {supreme verdict} over {damnation} or {faith's reward} (or that cheaper one {second sunrise}?) against enemy wrath or aggro?

I think these suggestions are a little too control orientated, thats just how i approach early deck building, but i hope it helps grease your gears.

{Golgari Charm} would fit in great with this deck. It gives you the board wipe you need for their 1/1's, and gives you a way to avoid your opponents board wipes

Thanks guys, golgari charm is for sure going in. I'll have to test those control cards. Making them not cast spells does seem good lol

{Isochron Scepter} + {Scilence} = no more spells for the rest of the game.

will need to add  {Unwinding Clock} for that to be the case.

Just activate the scepter on their upkeep then it untaps at your turn. Unless they have instant speed artifact removal then they get no more spells.

Well it would only untapped every two official 'turn's, so if you activate it on your turn, they can cast on theirs, if on theirs, they can cast on yours

{Curse of Death's Hold} ? Or maybe  {Varchild's War-Riders} if you want to go casual?
