Gotta have {diregraf ghoul} with zombies
And {call to the kindred} isn't bad at all either since you are running blue
What to take out for {Diregraf Ghoul}?
Depending in how things look, I like {Ultimate Price} instead of {Murder}. Then for the ghouls I would drop 1 {Grimgrin, Corpse-Born} and a couple of the curses maybe, I'm not to for sure, but I don't think you'll need 3 grimgrin.
Updated. I originally had just 2 grimbrins but I was rarely drawing him and he plays very well so I threw a 3rd to make sure he got some play time almost every game.
Also, since you are running blue, run think twice over altars reap
Also, what are you using for havengul lich?
If I have a Geralf in the graveyard or evil twin and the enemy has something nice I'd like to take. Bringing back grimgrins and all that good stuff. Lich rules. Also, think twice? 5 mana for 2 cards? Or 2 mana for 2 in a deck that's shaped for the sacrifice to be acceptable? And with blood artist, beneficial?
Altars reap seems like it would only be beneficial if blood artist or messenger is out
What if you aren't drawing them and have altars reap In hand and you actually need te creatures you have on the board? And think twice allows lots of draw with flashback, it's up to 8 extra draws as opposed to altars reap with only 4
Well I do have the Lich to bring people back and grave crawler is my go to man for saccing. But 4 alters = 8 cards. And 4 think twice + flashbacks = 8 cards.
{endless ranks of the dead} rules with zombies. Especially if you have more than one out.
Oh Nevermind
I thought altars reap was only one draw not two
That changes everything and I retract my statement
