I've been playing magic for a while, but really stopped after Zendikar, so I don't really know much about the new cards. I have decided to go to a Return to Ravnica two-headed giant sealed deck tournament this weekend with a friend, who also hasn't played the new sets, and I was wondering if I could get any tips on what decks to get. Thanks for any help.
You plated ravnica rite.
The guilds are similar and for each guild there is a keyruin and a charm of that guilds colors. I like to put keyruin and a charm in my decks if possible.
Yeah, I played the original Ravnica, but I was wondering if there were any two guilds in the new set that had particularly good synergy. Winners of the tournament each get like 5 booster packs, so I was just wondering. (It being a two-headed giant tournament.)
Rakdos is a nice giuld it's main ability is unleash I also like selesnya because it's main ability is populate.
I usually go azorius with my pulls, and then splash green or green white because those colors work really well together, you can stall in the beginning with blue and control the board, then slap down some {axebane stag} or other big creature and start wailing on your opponent
Your card pool is the most important thing to go by though. If you just don't have the cards to build rakdos then put those cards to the side. All the guilds have something going for them, and no guild is "bad" per se, they all need the right pulls to work well, and if you can make something work with your partner, do it

I just pick {Eyes in the Skies} because its one of the better cards at common. {Pack Rat} at rare is really good too for limited
