Im using a reanimator deck and my friend is running a control deck after i put avatar of woe to graveyard and reanimate it hes just gonna get it using mind control, so i bought spirit of the hearth that has an ability that says "you have hexproof" can he still take my avatar of woe?how do i prevent him getting my creatures
You'd need to give the creature itself hex proof. Try stuff like {Lightning Greaves} and {Ranger's Guile} and junk to make his mind control fizzle.
