I have a question concerning {venser, the sojourner}. With his +2 ability, do I have to wait until my next turns end step to return the exiled card or can I exile during my first main phase and return it during my end step of that turn?

Whichever main phase, it'll come back that same turn. Not the turn after.
Great for taking advantage of cards with "When enters the battlefield" abilities, such as {Stonehorn Dignitary}. in other words, opponent never attack again combo.
Me, I use it with a {Geist Honored Monk} and grow a crazy Spirit farm.
It's also good for untapping mana and other nonland permanents for use during your opponent's turn. Probably one of my favorite abilities in the game. Versatile and fun, all I can ever ask for in a card.

Negatory. Only any time you could cast a sorcery. 🎬
