Why is it that control decks are soo expensive to make I made one on here that was worth $505 which I think is crazy
Post what your control deck/s you made are worth.
Blue is always expensive. Mine is like $300-$400.
My junk token deck was realy expensive with 4 thragtusk 4 woodland 4 overgrown 4 temple garden 4 isolated
3 sorin lord of innistrad 3 garruk veil cursed

I am making one pretty cheap. I just went half and half for the izzet vs golgari deck and picked izzet. Then im taking the preconstructed izzet deck from return to ravnica. And sifting through commons and uncommons. Built it for 35$ and it runs great so far
My controll deck is 650 and that is nothing for a legacy. It is standard though.
Bant.. Standerd deck value- +$700
My battle of wits deck is like 600 bucks and that is without plainswalkers or entreat....sigh
So I guess possibly up against those decks...can you make a good deck for 50$ or under? Im not sure how my izzet deck would fair against those decks

Easily....crap, my izzet is about 400
Standard is the most expensive format to me. It's the pace of it, a new set comes out every 4 months? I know the most expensive decks are legacy and vintage, but at that point it's an investment. Those lands won't lose value, whereas in standard a peaked {primeval Titan} saw north of 25$ and now it's 5-7$
My Junk Zombies is $500
My standard izzet guttersnipe is between 100 and 200
My grixis control deck is about $520
My 5 color control deck is about 1300$
My deck is around $100. How can you spend so much on a deck?
My izzet con-troll is like 50$ but it works really well. I went 2-0 against a 700$ zombies deck
I think u can play well with deck that costs about 150-200 $.
My new standard deck is about 160 and has not big problems to face my meta...:)
On cockatrice was successful from 80 percent...;)
That's good to know. Mine seems to be heading Ina aggro direction, with the non-izzet cards I put in. But will bring it back to control soon. Not that anybody cares. What's the cheapest yet most effective kind of deck?
