Post by: Vyse on November 05, 2012, 03:17:53 AM
Ok so I control a  {Kessig Cagebreakers} bonded with  {Silverblade Paladin}. Does the second attack phase create more wolves?

Cage breakers create wolves when he's declared as an attacker, not when he deals damage, so no.

Double strikers are only declared attackers once, but deal damage twice. There is no "second combat phase" for them to attack again, but rather they hit twice with one attack.

A few cards can add an additional attack phase like {world at war} or {finest hour} that would allow the cage breakers to attack again and make more wolves though.

It's not a second attack phase it's a second damage phase

No, multiple instances of first strike mean nothing. It literally has to say double strike. See {rage reflection}. Also see rules 702.4 and 702.7

A creature that has first strike and double strike essentially has just double strike when you are talking damage.
