Been playing Magic Duels of th e planeswalkers 2012 so I know most of the mechanics. But the wording on some of the innistrad double-faced cards confuse me. When it says at the beginning of each upkeep if no spells were cast you my transform (card name). Could someone please explain how this works. Thanks in advance! MTG is a sweet game btw!!!
You play {Gatstaf Shepard}. You pass. Your opponent doesn't do anything, then your Shepard transforms.
If you want to revert him back to human form again, there must be two or more spells cast within a single turn.
Welcome to Magic!
The ability is pretty straightforward, the step after you untap, but before you draw is called the Upkeep. During this time, if no players cast any spells last turn, the DFC transforms (gets turned over to its other face).
The other side usually checks if any one player cast two spells the turn before. if so, it flips over.
What's your Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 handle? Mine is Equitum.
I would love to hit a game up with you sometime.
Thanks for the help! I play on Xbox. My GT is Zilla8180

Slight correction, it has to be two spells by the same player. :)
