No suggestions, but I really like the idea of this deck. Can you give us an idea on how it performs?
Phantasmal Images in graveyard - cast Sun Titan, return Phantasmal Image #1 to the battlefield, copying Sun Titan, return Phantasmal Image #2 to the battlefield, copy Sun Titan, rinse, repeat, and lather. :/
Two cards that will really help this build are {Think twice} and {Forbidden Alchemy}. Getting some graveyard play really helps out the image and Titan combo.

I thought about making it a self mill deck with {Skaab Ruinator}......I really like that guy and I am trying to incorporate him in a good deck.
I should be saving these for Daily Combo, but I can't NOT say it:
{Sun Titan} + {Skaab Ruinator} + {Flash}
Dump the Ruinator in the gy, then {Flash} out the Titan! Keep the Skaab. ðŸ'Œ

Thanks! Actually, as soon as I posted that one, it occurred to me that you could keep the {Sun Titan}
{Sun Titan} + {Flash} + {Animated Dead} (someone already new this, if you look at the new art on {Animate Dead} :) )
Edit: {Dance of the Dead} or {Necromancy} would work too.
Does this deck need the Illusion subtheme?
{Moorland haunt}?

I wanted to run the {phantasmal image} with {sun Titan} so I figured the {lord of the unreal} is an awesome round 3 target to copy. I am open for taking out the lord and bear if you have some suggestions.
Did you make a sideboard yet?
Added sideboard
maybe drop bear for {doomed traveler}... Just a thought, plus you can keep bringing it back with Titan
Updated to add the {sudden disappearance} + {sundial of the infinite} combo. Figured the sundial will work with {Geist of Saint Traft} even if I don't get to cast the disappearance.
I keep messing around with this deck list. Now I am going to use a spirit theme and copy the {drogskol captain} or the 4/4 angel tokens with {cackling counterpart} and {phantasmal image}. You can give the image hexproof if you make him a spirit and another captain is out. I wanted to keep the sundial combo in to see how much use it gets in play testing......just waiting for cards to get here now :)

No skaab, it is a pain to play him in any other way. How will you get him in your graveyard in the first place?

{Flash} isn't standard legal.
I was hoping that it would be obvious that it was a mental exercise, and that I could share something fun. ðŸ˜"
I guess not.
Still a work in progress. Changed the deck around to make it more of a early control deck that has good mid-game tempo and late game bombs. Suggestions welcome.

What about either more titans in case he is removed (though with the amount of counters you have it's possible you don't need to worry) or maybe try running unburial rites? Just mill it or splash black for a third color?
I have 4 titans but I am not relying on him too much given the other cards in the deck. I like just 2 and I hope to see him when needed given the cantrips

Oh sorry I thought he was the main card for some reason

Validan, what would you take out if the Titan was bumped to 3 or even 4?

My first thought was the probes, but they seem pretty useful with the {phantasmal images} so maybe a {cackling counterpart} and a {mana leak}? You have the snapcaster to flashback anything you need so I figure it might not be necessary to run a full set of leaks and {cackling counterpart} has flashback anyway though for a higher cost, but you need creatures to even target one with it and with the {phantasmal images }and {geist of saint traft} it only leaves you with 4 other creatures to copy
My goal with {cackling counterpart} is to copy the 4/4 angel token. Then I will have another good option for {phantasmal image} to copy early to mid game. Ultimately, the images and the {Geist of saint Traft} get cast early and most likely end up in the GY. They help keep the game in control until I cast a round 6 {sun Titan} and I start bringing those cards back from the GY....round 7 comes hopefully with Karn or {drogskol Reaver}....considering taking out the Reaver since he costs so much but fails the {dismember} test.
I was actually wondering if you had though of using your cackling counterpart for that I like that strategy, I agree with the drogskol reaver, you could drop that for a titan
I think I will....the Reaver has so much flavor tho. The extra Titan will be more useful tho.
You could sacrifice playability for fun cards if you like XD

Don't let Appleguru hear you say that. 😜
I know I might find a steel backed foil hero of bladehold in my neck used as a ninja throwing star

Hehe very true. I like Apple he really states his opinion with conviction.
I always like hearing the reasons why he chooses the cards he does for his examples because a lot of the time I'd make the wrong choice I think lol
