Is {Thragtusk} and serenity the best deck?
I say we the forum of imtg unite and build the best deck for standard possible and try to break the meta!
The key to beating those cards:
- run no creatures, or very few (like snapcaster)
- you MUST 1-for-1 thragtusk WHENEVER possible. Cards that 1-for-1 thraggy are:
{Pacifism}, {Defang}, {Bonds of Faith}, {Arrest}, etc. another way to essentially "1-for-1" thrag is to wait until they have more than 1 guy out. Boardwipe then get rid of the token. You just spent 2 cards for 2 or more cards. Mission accomplished.
- have graveyard hate
And of course counterspells are awesome 1-for-1s! :)
We need to get ppl together and make a deck =P that would be sweet!
My Izzet burn deck seems like a good way around them
I was thinking blue black white control with in burial rights maybe put in red
I use {dissipate}, {syncopate} , {snapcaster Mage}, and {detention sphere} for those guys.
They are the Tier one deck but if buw can kill them and win it will be the best
Control decks work well against them.
So by adding thragtusk and serenity with blue is the best?

My grixis control deck beats on bant control decks pretty good. Tusk is not much of a threat to my deck...

If your looking for somthing to play this could be the type of deck for you. It did beat 2 Bant control decks to win the open.
I say use blue white and red for some burn just in case
Mainboard 4x {Nevermore} and keep them from removing it.

If you're interested, start a new Community Standard deck. Or pick from amongst the available decks and have everyone vote.
How do I start a vote?
Make a running list or post of your favorite decks and have community vote on what they'd like to change, or which ones are their favorite.
