Is Gilded Lotus the only way you can play Nicol Brolas? You have no black sources

I'd put in 1 swamp, that way you can fetch it via Evolving Wilds and it gives you an effective 5 black sources(not including Lotus) for Bolas

If I were him I'd just cut Bolas. He's not even that great, it's not worth going into black just for him

When I get him out which is not as hard as it seems with the lotus. The game is over unless they have {dread bore}. I like him. Thanks for the suggestion though.

U need 2 b to cast bolas. 

I have to agree with metal on this. Never splash a colour for one card. Especially an 8 drop.

I am not splashing. It is from the lotus. I can cast him easy turn 6.

Easy is relying on 3 out of your 60 cards to cast him?

Again not to hard I allways see a lotus and I have 9 turns to find one.

So okay if you draw bolas before you get a lotus he's a dead card.. Whoopdedoo just keep going and pretend he's a counterspell or something. People are always afraid when you leave mana open and you're playing blue

Exactly TY. I have untill turn 8 or so to find one of my 3 lotus beside its not like I have 4 copies of bolas in there. I know he is 8 cmc. He helps me when the race. Most of the time I just steal there bomb creature with him or blow up an {o ring} or {detention sphere}. He is not as good as karn but he will due. TY for the suggestions I really do appreciate them.
