Hes in one of the decks thats about to come out i believe. Which is crazy because hes like at $19 and those decks average $25.

I was talking about {Thragtusk} that he is 19... But for example I bought Golgari ED for 24 $ here in norway... Even cheaper in Finland...:D

Or you could be original and not hop on the bandwagon. Sure it's good but playing him would make me feel like just another sheep. Be original people! Before I have to start maindecking {nevermore} and it actually work well lol

So, which original card choice should be chosen over thragtusk? One that doesn't need a deck built around it and is better than thragtusk?

Crazy, thragtusk is seeing as much play and hate now as delver was just a couple months ago. Just sideboard {arrest} for your o-rings if you're that concerned about the thing. It's an amazing card, sure, but there are ways to deal with it.

{Arrest} or  {Pacifism}. They still get the 5 life but for 5 CMC 5 life is kinda weak. Haha

Every deck that plays him besides jund has a way of saving him. {restoration angel} {angel of serenity} and yes those 2 cards are also played as much as {Thragtusk}
