So I got 5th place in a legacy tournament this past weekend. I went 2-1 in each round, except the round I lost against esper stoneblade 1-2. This deck performed pretty well, I wasn't sure about how {Liliana of the Veil} was going to play but she won me a game in a sick topdeck against {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}. I noticed how I should have equiped {Batterskull} to {Lotleth Troll} more often because the trample is huge against chump blockers and I'm sure if I would have, I would have beat esper stoneblade. At one point i was leadind the game 23-3. Then my deck stalled out, I was drawing lands and he was able to stablize with {Lingering Souls}, {Batterskull}, and {Umezawa's Jitte}. Game one lasted about 30 minutes, it was a tough grind, and I learned a lot about how to play my deck. Let me know what y'all think...?
Very nice. I would want the playset of {knight of the reliquary} in here. Maybe drop 1 Bob, 1 Tidehollow, not sure. Brings your mana curve up a bit doing that. All I know is I love {Lotleth troll}....just wish I had the time to play test my {G}{B}{U} deck I posted ... Troll Bug. The interaction with Lotleth and {unearth} is awesome.....for me I had to run {U} for {stifle} sac land control + {wasteland} to deny mana and to see {skaab Ruinator} in a constructed build 👍 He is good and someday I will prove it...haha.
I'd add {knight of the reliquary} as well. Sideboard {bojuka bog}, add {Karakas} and add some swords (like {sword of body and mind} for the mirror)
I agree about adding in more {Knight of the Reliquary}, although I only own 1. To go along with the knights I need to add in {Wasteland} and {Karakas}, again I don't own any of those cards either. During my playing this deck I noticed I usually go for the {Batterskull} with {Stoneforge Mystic}. In earlier deck lists I ran one {Sword of Fire and Ice} MB and one {Sword of Body and Mind} SB. I would hardly fetch out the fire and ice unless I was playing against U/R colored decks, goblins, merfolk, or anything else those colors. I like body and mind, especially against RUG delver, but i still need a lot more testing to see more interactions.
