Trostani is the only {G}{W} legendary within the last several years. If those are the 2 colors you're set on, you're stuck with her unless you're willing to go older or add a 3rd color/change up colors.

If you go with a Trostani deck, token swarms are your friend, as well as high-toughness creatures to maximize your life gain.

Agreed but look out for things that will do the same as  {Sever the Bloodline} I love to exiles token hoards in edh with it and I know other people do too

For sure! That's why it's important to spread your types of tokens around. If all of your tokens are 3/3 centaurs, a bloodline sever will cripple you. If you spread it out between 3/3 centaurs, 3/3 beasts, 3/3 elephants, 2/2 wolves, 2/2 knights, 5/5 and 6/6 Wurms, and other random types, a sever will only kill off one type, a tiny section of your army.  A {Ratchet Bomb} will still ruin your day though ;)

I would still stick with the ravnica guy over the angel. From scars til now there have been quite a few powerful token pumpers. The only problem with going mostly standard - extended cards is you don't have many ways to tutor. And in a lot of EDH games it can come down to who tutors first or who tutors the better answer.

So true idk how many games I've won cause I tutored out a card the just demolishes the game before some can hit me with any counterspells
