Title: Cascade: tech question
Post by: Leevai420 on October 23, 2012, 02:35:20 PM
I need help knowing what instance of cascade would resolve first o last. Here's the scenario:  I cast {maelstrom wanderer} and his first cascade ability triggers I then cascade into say a {bloodbraid elf} does the elf's cascade trigger before maelstroms second cascade triggers?

Im guessing the cascade of bloodbraid resolves first.

Yes this is right. Whatever you cascade into resolves before the second cascade on the wander, but all resolve before the wanderer himself.

And just for future reference wanderer's second cascade actually resolves before his first.

That isnt quite relevant though since it's two instances either way. What is relevant is what you cascade into resolves before going into the second cascade (or first cascade depending how you look at it).

Uh, actually it doesnt... It doesnt put both on the stack at the same time, the keyword "then" says the second ability only triggers after the first one has resolved

Let me correct myself the second spell cascaded into resolves before the first one.
