I really like the idea of epic experiment. I know it is really weak against heavy aggro, but since most of the decks at my loca FNM are junk midrange I should be fine.

Any thoughts are welcome as I have no idea how I should change it.

Original?

Played this at Missouri State Championships, ended up going 5-0-2 (2 intentional draws) but then lost in the top 8 to a guy I beat in the swiss. Regardless, it was an incredibly surprising and successful performance for me, debatably the best tournament success I have ever had. This is the list I ended up running (though I think it should be posted online on SCG or TCGplayer):

4 Farseek
4 Ranger's Path
3 Boundless Realms
4 Think Twice
4 Epic Experiment
1 Mystic Retrieval
4 Devastation Tide
4 Temporal Mastery
2 Steam Vents
4 Mountain
7 Forest
1 Hinterland Harbor
9 Island
4 Forbidden Alchemy
1 Devil's Play
2 Increasing Vengeance
2 Overgrown Tomb
SB: 4 Dispel
SB: 4 Rolling Temblor
SB: 4 Fog
SB: 1 Rakdos's Return
SB: 2 Druid's Deliverance

I saw that deck on reddit and decided to try and improve it. I added shock lands so I can always be able to flashback {increasing vengeance}. I cannot wait for the R/G and U/G shock lands. That way i can search for a red or blue mana when I {rangers path}. To combat heavy aggro and ETB creature effects I added 2 {terminus}.

Am I missing something or the win here is IV and devils play?

Yes it is. Preferably a flashbacked IV on a devil's play. Post sideboard wins can be milled out with {psychic spiral} or just straight damage with {rakdos's return}

It works like a storm deck

Right on, I was away for the area of storm, seems like a fun mechanic/deck tho.
