It will come out June 7, 2013. It will be like a core set, but all the cards are not standard legal. It will be in limited print. A box comes with 24 packs not 36 and there will be no basic lands in it so that slot is taken up with a foil. Booster packs are gonna be msrp at 6.95. If you wanted to get into modern then you want to get this.

It's a non standard legal pack. Being able to buy modern cards for 7$ a pack seems like a good deal.
Does anyone know when they will start to take pre orders on the set? Cuz I want atleast two boxes lol

I wonder if Wizards is gonna come up with some convoluted way to explain why there has to be garbage rares in the set. Modern Masters isn't meant to be drafted, and isn't for casual players. We shall see.
I expect a {Dark Confidant} and pretty much any Modern money cards.

Stoked about {Dark Confidant}. I wasn't playing when all the powerhouse Modern cards got printed so this is a good chance for me to get some. If I *did* have them already though, I'd be kinda mad at the idea of this set. Haha

We yeah I mean they had to try to get a goyf for instance at around 80 or 90 dollars and its like people r going to be able to get all those money cards for only like 7.50 I think so yeah I would be mad as hell to.
They're not making enough of it to upset the secondary market. Ideally, they'll get more people interested in playing Modern that the influx of cards will only fuel the newer players. Prices should stay the same.

And from what my little coffee eyes can see, there are no modern masters foil goyfs on ebay, just regular foil ones. And playsets seem to go for 1k minimum.
{Æther Spellbomb} has been spoiled for Modern Masters. Same common rarity.
Well my LGS just stated today they are getting a smaller amount, so better buy boxes of this one ;)
How much are boxes, and when does it come out?
