Title: Superfriends commander

So I'm looking to make a superfriends commander. I know I'm either going to use progenitus or Cromat (which I already have). My question is what kind of landbase would you guys suggest(cheap would be nice) and what planeswalkers should I include.

Well cheapest you can get are the new guildgates. With gatecrash thats 10 dualies that are cheap. Other than that i think the "Tainted" lands are pretty cheap. Bounce lands arent too expensive either

Cheap + superfriends doesn't exactly mix, them walkers are expensive!

But yeah, guild gates for sure are cheap dual lands, and you will probably want guild signets and bounce lands from old Ravnica too. The Zendikar "refuge lands are pretty cheap too. Alara triple lands like {Crumbling Necropolis} aren't very expensive either.  {Chromatic Lantern} is going to be a must-have for you.

As for your walkers, you're talking about 100 (about 60 non-land) cards in a singleton format, so...you can fit every planeswalker ever printed and still have room left.

I would love to see it happen, especially with {doubling season} in there. But that deck would cost a fortune that is way beyond my budget lol

Oh god, the though just occurred to me... {Creeping Renaissance} naming... planeswalkers.

This is seriously one investment i'm willing to make. These planeswalkers are awesome and having like 10+ out at a time seems incredibly good.. The only thing I'm thinking is i'll need a lot of token gen.

Also gorzo what do you think about the lair lands? They go along with the conflux tri lands.

I plan on using every planeswalker minus new jace. He just seems like a bummer when your playing jace TMS and baby jace

The mind sculptor, yes. Baby jace no way. Have you seen new jace in action? -2 is nuts card advantage especially in commander since its a somewhat slow format. Rip best card out of opponents library and yours? Winning

I think you mean {Crosis's Catacomb}
{Darigaaz's Caldera}
{Treva's Ruins}
{Rith's Grove}
{Dromar's Cavern}
That's all I can remember. There's one for each of the Invasion legendary Tri color dragons that had when it deals damage pay 3 and chose a color for an effect to happen ( {Darigaaz, the Igniter}  {Treva, the Renewer}  {Rith, the Awakener}. Etc.)

They seem good if you have lands with ETB effects to bounce.

{Chromatic Lantern} is a much more efficient color fixer though. Tutor/{Fabricate} for it.

Those lairs and ravnica bounce lands seem good with the vivid set of lands

Would affect planes walkers? If the legend rule doesn't apply I assume planeswalkers can come out in force haha. Just a thought {Mirror Gallery}

You'd only be able to have a single version of each planeswalker in play at a time but that doesn't really matter as you should be in control with 4 to 5 planeswalkers on the field

I run a Modern Superfriends deck with {Doubling Season}, {Contagion Engine}, {Venser, the Sojourner} (who flickers contagion so I can proliferate 2 more times). Definitely awesome interactions between these.

And pray that nobody casts {ruination} I was playing my 5 colour deck and some noob knowing I was playing 5 colour, slipped it into his deck. I'm still steaming from that one. Such an a-hole move. Everyone in my meta is refusing to trade or even play against him now. Thanks, btw fellas.  So I recommend counter spells. lol
