Post by: Jdogtoocool on October 19, 2012, 08:10:02 AM
Ok so say I cast {infernal plunge} on my {arbor elf}, can I in response tap the elf and untap my {stomping grounds} before he gets sacked?

Additional costs are paid same time as the manacost so it is sacrificed as the spell is put unto the stack.

Could you instead tap the land for mana, tap the elf to untap the land, and then play the spell?

Yeah since the mana doesnt empty from your pool then you use it to cast the spell. That would work.
