Say I have a {Geist of saint traft} on the field and swinging and I also have a {silverblade paladin} swinging. The Geist summons his 4/4 angel token, can I then flash in {restoration angel} or use {cloudshift} to flicker the {silverblade paladin} and give the 4/4 angel double strike?
Yes sir! Strike away!
Silvetblade wont deal dmg though etc etc.
Nice! Thanks!
I don't see why not! I actually like that combo. Keeping silverblade unpaired so I can pair the angel when it comes into play would be awesome. Then throw a rancor = AWESOMESAUCE
I actually just leave the paladin unbonded so that I can pair it with the angel each time it comes in.
Exactly... That's what I was trying to get at
Cant rancor the angel though.
Or how did {Alchemists refuge} work?
Pretty sweet combo. Keep the paladin unbonded. Attack with geist. Pay {G}{G}{U} for rancor. Rancor comes back to hand and silverblade becomes unbonded for the next turn again!
This was done in AVR protour, it's a great play though.
I was going with rancor on the Geist or silverblade
Either way that combo looks pretty cool with the refuge lol maybe ill throw one into my deck...
I realized that after i posted ;D
But 8 trample dmg with double strike would be pretty sweet no? ;D
I think it would be 12 trample double strike flying damage
