Title: Guttersnipe + increasing vengeance
Post by: Redrighthand on October 18, 2012, 10:15:15 AM
If Inhave a  {Guttersnipe} in play then cast an instant and also play  {Increasing Vengeance} does the snipe do 4 damage (2 for the instant and 2 for the Vengeance) or 6 (2 for the instant, 2 for Vengeance and 2 for the copy)?

I say 4 because the copy is not casting a spell. It's copying a spell on the stack not casting a new spell.

You dont cast copies of spells unless the copying factor states so. "... You may cast a copy of that spell" or similar.
