Title: Explain
Post by: Murtaugh on October 15, 2012, 10:09:27 PM
How do you get infinite life with {Nomads en Kor} and {Task Force}?

Not infinite life. But the creature you redirect to has infinite toughness, and nomads cant be dealt damage.

{Starlit Sanctum}, {Daru Spiritualist}, {Nomads-en-Kor}: Infinite life turn 3.
I'm still not getting it...

Pay zero mana to activate the en-Kor's ability, targetting a Cleric you control and {Daru Spiritualist} will give the Cleric +0/+2 until EOT. Repeatedly pay zero mana for infinite toughness, then sac the Cleric to the {Starlit Sanctum}.

Edit: in this case, you'd have to target the Spiritualist or another Cleric with en-Kor's ability since that en-Kor isn't a Cleric. {Shaman en-Kor} would work though.

Yep. The Spiritualist is the target. You could use another cleric, but unless it costs {W}, you won't be able to pull the combo off sooner than turn 4, short of mana ramps like {Lotus Petal}. Frankly, after getting 9,999,999,999,999 life, what's the point of keeping him around?
{soul conduit} is kind of a threat to this. Might want to keep him around in case you have to do it again lol

Also throw in some artifact removal, if playing {w} then  {Return to Dust} should do the trick

I prefer {revoke existence} cheaper. Leaves you more mana to do your own thing.

Ah yes, forgot about that one

My g/f runs soul conduit. Definately a game changer if you've got the mana...lol.

It would be pretty funny if your opponent ran the rhos conduit combo (it's somewhere in the combo corner) on you haha

Oh you have 999,999,999,999,999,999 life? Cool I'll have double that please
