Title: Fertile grounds
Post by: ducttapetitan on October 15, 2012, 06:52:39 PM
{Fertile Ground} do you get to search your deck for a land and then play a land or do you just chose what color you want it the enchantment to be?

You just choose whatever color mana to add to your mana pool.  You don't search for a land.  There are cards that let you search for lands though.  For example: {rampant growth} or {farseek}.

Just to be clear, you need to enchant a land on the battlefield with this enchantment.

Rather than {fertile ground} try {abundant growth} costs half as much and let's you draw a card too!

I don't think that's right {abundant growth} doesn't say it adds additional mana just lets you tap the land for any color

Ok, {trace of abundance} same cost plus shroud. Yay, redemption!
