First of all, I must say that this app is awesome. I looked through the comments, and I'd like to add a couple more, very minor suggestions (which I already made in the iTunes review and which I'll repeat ^^)
1) A "random card" button. Clicking for random cards on Gatherer makes me find new combos and cards I'd never have heard of otherwise, and this functionality allows hours of entertainment.
2) A link to the Gatherer discussion page for each card. It's useful knowing what the rest of the MTG community thinks.
Just my two cents. Anyway, fantastic app and keep up the good work! :)

Also, there seems to be a slight issue with the card view mode - sometimes it doesn't switch when I flip the phone.
Btw, digging the new icon and the search lock! Would a more detailed search (eg by flavor text, across more than one expansion/rarity/type/etc...) be feasible?
I thought searching across more than one expansion/rarity/type/etc... is already there?

The random card and rules are amazing! Just wish I could get the database to work... :s
If the random card works for you, that means database is ok. Make sure you clear the filters.
I got it to work by reinstalling the app. Needed and Decks are all there, but purchases have gone now. :(

Minor error - one of the Alliances Lim-Dul's High Guard is showing up as Misinformation.
Any possibility of linking both sides of the DFCs to each other?
