Title: -1/+1
Post by: Double-O-Scotch on October 12, 2012, 01:23:28 PM
What happens to a creatures power when that creature with 0 power is given -1/-1 or multiple instances of -1/-1 until end of turn. I know if the amount of these counters equals or is greater than its toughness, it dies. But what happens when it's power is already 0? Is it considered a negative power? Or does it stay at 0?

I think it simply gets minus in power. Alas A -3/1 creature gets giants growth'd it becomes a 0/4.
Need a second opinion though

Someone made a lifelink creature of mine have negative power and proclaimed that it would then give HIM life...

Negative power on a creature is effectively 0 when it comes to combat. But it needs to be noted in case of {giant growth} type situations as noted above.
