Ok so I last FNM some guys were joking about making a conjured currency deck. My thoughts? "Challenge accepted!"
Hah just kidding. My thoughts? "Hah yeah that card blows!"
But today I made a deck based on it. It has 80 cards (32 lands = .4 ratio), and it actually runs like a dream. So much that I am actually going to make it in real life and play it at FNM.
The full list is on here. The name of the deck is part of the flavor text of conjured currency. But to summarize it, the deck has a ton of draw cards, boardwipes, and miracles that you can easily hard cast because you draw so much.
The ONLY nonland permanents are currency and elixir of immortality. This means they will NEVER get anything out of currency. Also, there are 7 cards that go well with it:
3 devastation tide
4 cyclonic rift
...so tide is just in case they kill the thing you steal. At least you get your currency back! Rift is even better because you can steal something and get your currency back on the same turn!!! Both also serve as boardwipes.
Since almost every other card you draw is a drawspell, your graveyard fills up and elixir can be used. Your deck gets smaller and more useful each time and you can reuse your spells!
I added a singleton archangel's light. It saved me once and it helped me win even more another time. I did consider the new mill card from RTR but decided against it.
I am done playing for tonight and testing it. It went 8-1. The guy that beat me was so good....I admire his skillz. He played a junk token deck. The thing that killed me was plainswalkers. He got sorin out and then primal hunter and then vraska...I can't count the number of times I wrathed. He just kept doing pw stuff. He had 3 sorin emblems when we were done. Man that was fun!

EDIT: the sideboard on these forums for this deck is not the real one. Real one has negates and other things to deal with my newfound weakness: pws

What is your input? Any cards that are janky that you think could be abused if you made a deck around it?
Post the deck?
I did. The name is "Too Good To Be True", it is like 5 decks down the row in the standard section.
I once made a deck around {Dread Slaver} and it kills ramp/frights ever time.
