Title: Double stile with trample
Post by: Dburlewd on October 11, 2012, 01:39:12 PM
I have a worm out, I then put out a silver blade and pair for double strike giving the worm trample and double strike. I attack with the worm they block with let's say a 2/2. The worm is a 4/4 how would the damage work?

You assign two to their blocker. 2 tramples over in the first strike combat. Then since their creature took lethal, your normal combat allowed by double strike will cause all 4 to trample over. You deal 6 overall to opponent, 2 to their creature.

That's what I though just wanted to check, had a disagreement at the local card shop about it.
