So I bought the Deathfed event deck and have tried to edit it to make it have a stronger early game while keeping the strong late game as graveyards become filled.

I feel right now that this deck is really slow and I am looking for a way to help it get moving faster. Should I scratch a {bonehoard} and a {boneyard wurm} to add one or two classic green monsters just in case I discard all my spells and no monsters?

Also, I would like to take this deck to Friday night magic but most of my games are with friends.

I used {rune chanters pike} in my deathfed deck

Do I have enough spells to make that worth it?

More {Splinterfright}s and more {Viridian Emissary}s.

Cut the {Garruk's Companion}.

What is the {Parallel Lives} doing in this deck?

More {Mulch}, {Gnaw to the Bone}

Probably for the {Kessig Cagebreakers} and {Spider Spawning}.

No, those two are good. Both of 'em are your win-cons.

Are you saying that I don't need {parallel lives}?

You don't need it.

You don't need it.

As much fun as it would be, you could use the room to do something better.

{Unburial Rites}? And maybe splash white for the flashback?

Hmm... I might have to give that a try. More {splinterfright}s are also a must. I will take out the {parallel lives} as I get more cards.

Also, after looking at some card spoilers I think {ghoultree} could find a place in this deck.

If the link is not working ghoultree is a 10/10 that initially costs 8 mana (1 green 7 colorkess) to play. It costs 1 less per creature in your graveyard.

I would run 4 {jace's archivist} and 2 {Skaab Ruinator} with a secondary win-con using 1 {laboratory maniac} and 1 {memory's journey} cuz when both of these are in the GY you can flashback {memory's journey} to put the maniac in your library before you die from Mill and win next round.

Agreed.
