Title: Champion of Lambholt
Post by: Mathias1066 on September 30, 2012, 06:03:36 PM
So I was playin a guy on Cockatrice and I had a champion of lambholt out and then I played a doomed traveler and I had a 2nd out already. So my champ is now a 2/2. He played a golgari charm that gave all creatures -1/-1. Would that kill my champion cuz I don't think it would since the counters on it stack and don't go away unless something makes them. Please help need to make sure I'm playing this deck right even tho I think I am.

Did he play the {Golgari charm} in response to the second {doomed traveler}?

It's only -1/-1, so unless he cast it before that 2nd traveler resolved, the {champion of lambholt} lives.

... Not to mention getting another 2 counters due to spirits from the travelers

Then no, you champion would live, and have 4 +1/+1 counters with the two new spirits in play.
