After yesterday's prerelease I decided to try construct almost pure rtr deck for standard and need opinions of anyone else.

Seems quite compact to me but I could be wrong...
Maybe to compose avacyn's pilgrim instead of arbor elves... Mhm?

BTW: Guess which guild I played yesterday...:D

If you can curve there, try and run 4x {growing ranks} it's just nuts at making those 8/8 lands

Also check out {rootborn defenses} and {Druids deliverance}

Rootborn defences I have already considered before and I am not sure about it, I played it yesterday in sealed deck format and it was not that helpful how that card looks like but druids deliverance is really good idea.. Will have to re-consider also the amount of growing ranks...

I slightly changed the deck and add few cards and cut what I could... Will have to test it first but it could work this way...;)

Oh yeah, also overlook things like {entreat the angels}, the new ajani
Also there's an x/x ooze token spell too.

{Entreat the angels} is not really card for this deck... If you would draw it in the beggining of the game you would get easily stucked with it...

Yeah fair call, just thought that any tokens would be a good start, as the numbers can grow pretty quickly.

Splash blue for {Cackling counterpart} = populating wayfaring temples. Lol.

Attack with 2 WTs, make two more. They are all now 4/4s. Next turn:
Attack for 16, then get 4 more temples.
You now have 8/8s that populate whenever they attack.


EDIT: Opponents turn, {Supreme Verdict} FUUUUUUUUUUUUÜÛÙÚŪUUUUUU!!!!!!!!¡

You would get stuck with it drawing it early on almost ANY deck, still a good card to run

Need to test it but even if I will ramp I do not think that will have that many chances to cast the card... Why to have it in deck if I will barely cast it... Maybe in sideboard...

Anyway decided then I will add {Rootborn Defenses} to sideboard as you adviced me... It could be more than helpful.

After few days of live testing of the deck I accepted ur advices and changed the deck a little.. Exchanged {Druid's Deliverance} with {Rootborn Defenses}. Add {Entreat the Angels} and revised sideboard. Working well now.

Last changes to tje deck... Now testing with few other guys in my group... Works well... Dis not meet really agrro B/R... But should be able to survive also that...;)

Now have only one problem which deck should I play on Magic Game Day i 14 days...:D
