Can people help me with a {Kresh, the Bloodbraided} deck? I'm deciding whether to make this or my Rakdos. Depends how much fun I have with em
Kresh makes a pretty good general if you build around him. The important thing to remember with Kresh is that it's super important lots of stuff is dying - everything EXCEPT Kresh himself. Their creatures, your creatures, kill em all! Protect Kresh with {Swiftfoot boots} and {Darksteel plate}, and start bombing the board once he's indestructible or big enough to survive your red explosions like {blasphemous act}. And of course, lots of kill spells ({terminate}), and sac spells ({barter in blood}).
There are a lot of repeatable sacrifice combos that fuel Kresh well. {Reassembling Skeleton} may not look that appealing with its meager 1 power, but you'll find it very useful in a Kresh sac deck.
Jund is also capable of creating tokens and using the devour mechanic, both great ways to spike kresh's size. Nothing says "screw you all" like having {warstorm surge} out, spamming tokens, dropping {Thromok the Insatiable}, eating the tokens and surging for lethal damage to 1 foe + adding a ton of counters to Kresh, sacrificing Thromok to {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} to kill other foes and put a bunch more counters on Kresh, then attacking one straggling survivor for a lethal swing with Kresh, equipped with a {Mage slayer}.
Any more?
I'll ask my brother next time I get a chance to talk mtg with him. His main EDH deck is Kresh, and has some goodies in it. {mark of mutiny} + {rush of blood} + {fling} is in there, if I remember correctly though
