I've been trying to connect to the store to get all my features back, but it seems to be having issues. It never has successfully connected in the 4-5 times I have tried.
I'm on iOS 6 on an iPhone 5 if that's relevant and/or helps.
Any error messages?

Are u referring to the AppStore purchases or imtg restore purchases? I believe the AppStore ios6 has a serious bug that doesn't allow u to see your purchases however for imtg u don't need to go there u can do it through settings
The iMTG store. It just tries to connect but sits at that screen. No error messages or anything like that.
That means iMtG cannot obtain the in-app purchases data from the App Store. Is your network ok? Did you try restarting iMtG?

I force quit and restarted the app. No dice.
I had the same issue. I had to power down my iPad. This fixed my problem. It might work for you.
It might have just been the network too. I tried it yesterday and it worked fine.

I'll second this. I had the same problem; force quit, power down, restart, and it should work.
The App Store in iOS6 is really wonky. They changed the T&C of the Apple Store, and I had to "verify" that I "read" that about eight times before I could update any apps... May just be something they're going to have to fix.
I'm in the similar position. I've got the app on both my New iPad and iPhone 5 (both on iOS 6). I've had no problems with the iPhone. I can't connect to restore purchases with the iPad, though. Forced closed the app. Rebooted the iPad. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app: no luck. Doubt it's a network issue on my end. The iPhone had no issues, and the iPad has no issues EXCEPT with this.

Try doing it on a different network. It worked for me.
