Use {Gideon Jura}'s ability to force someone to attack. Use {Venser, the Sojourner} to exile Gideon until beginning of my end step. Do creatures that player control now attack nothing? Are they still forced to attack the Gideon that doesn't exist?

"attack Gideon jura if able" since they no longer can they can attack you since that Gideon is no longer there, like if you exiled or destroyed Gideon they would be free to attack you.
That makes sense. Thanks :)
I'm confused about this now. So if you +2 Gideon to make creatures your opponents control attack Gideon if able, then you flicker Gideon with Venser, Gideon is in play once again by your opponents next combat phase. Does Gideon's +2 remain active even though he was flickered?
It technically is still active but it says "if able". And the original gideon left the battlefield and returned as a completely new object. Therefore no creatures can possibly attack the one that used to be there. So they are free to attack other things.
That makes sense! Thanks coffee :)
