This is a fast paced ramp burn deck. Pretty much used the curse to buff creatures like stromkirk and berzerkers. And the rest is quick dmg and removal or damage spells, I love the flexibility of red.
You forgot {Shrine of Burning Rage}, but nice deck - it seems like it works.
It would be a sideboard card. Along with red sun zenith
I like {devils play} better
I would main deck the shrine.
I'm curious to know what you would hope for in your opening hand. I haven't played much red but this one looks fun.
Opening hand you want stromkirk, curse, 2 or 3 lands, some burn and a berzerker. It's a well rounded deck, but if I'm main boarding the shrine I would prolly take out a couple furnace scamps.
I'm sorry but doesn't the word 'ramp' usually pertain to mana ramping? I don't really see any ramping in here.

I would agree, but I think what the author means is that the creatures are ramping (ie Getting bigger).
Standard or modern ??
Considering you bumped a deck that is over 2 years old, it would have been standard at the time, but now it's not.
