I still find it hilarious that Niv combos with his former self.

You can choose not to deal damage to a player.
New Niv isnt nearly as broken, since he only triggers when he himself does damage. :(

But you can pump lots of damage and so draw lots of cards from him. I think that's better. Not as good for combos though.

Mandatory cards for any Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind deck
Combine {Mind Over Matter} and {Library of leng} with Niv-Mizzet discard a card to the top of you deck then draw the same card untapping and tapping Niv
Enchant {Ophidian Eye} with him 2 more Curiosity
Pair {Tandem Lookout} with him but be aware no may effect you must draw a card
Add {Laboratory Maniac} your answer to running out of cards
Add {Psychosis Crawler} to draw and kill everyone
If you have black in you deck add {Helm of the Ghastlord}
If you have Green in you deck add {Keen Sense} and {Snake Umbra}
While not infinite add {Charisma} {Basilisk Collar} and {Sword of Kaldra} effective cards for him though while you are trying to get to your combo
You guys coul d look at my planned combo of guttersnipe +curiosity in a red burn deck.
Every time I cast a red spell ping you for 2 and draw a card. Seems much more powerful then niv-mizzet, and as an added bonus it's quicker
