Title: New jace
Post by: Richardalcala on September 25, 2012, 03:02:13 PM
With {jace architect of thought} is his ultimate cast spells with ou mana cost only once or tell the end of the game. Also what if you get a bonfire what would the spell be? Would you still have to tap the coulor less mana. Not sure if I like him or not. Just trying to figure home out. Thanks for the help.

Its one spell from each players library once. And if you're given the option to cast without paying its manacost {X} is always {0} ;D

When you use the ult, that is only when you get to search the opponent's library for the spells by Jace's effect.

X spells are treated as x=0.
However, you may pay additional cost (kicker, etc) if you happen to pick a card that has it.

Oh right i forgot kicker!
Yeap kicker you can pay, {X} not so much. (Not at all, to clarify.)

What about multi kicker? Can you kick them a billion times?

No no you'll be able to pay the kicker but the main cost is free.
{Gatekeeper of malakir} for example.
You'd play him for free but you may pay {B} for the kicker.
Unlike {x} in the cost where {X} becomes {0}

{X} in a kicker cost is payable though.

We will have to see. Not sure if I like himto much then. So u can use the spell whenever right. Or do I have to use it right away?

Yup. It would have to worded like {praetor's grasp} in order to let you hold on and cast it later.
