What do mtg stuff cost in the states?
I just found the cheapest boosters and fatpacks i've ever seen!
29 sek for a booster (A little more than 3 usd) and 299 sek for a fatpack (35 usd rough estimate).
A us dollar is about 7.5 swedish crowns i think (yes our curency is called crowns).
Im just curious since i hear you have it at wallmart even!
In my area it's approximately $4 us for a pack and 40 for a fat pack.
My lgs charges more so I just head to Walmart and buy packs from there

Wow thats pretty good!
After employee discount Walmart has them right at 385. Sadly I have already saved a few bucks buying them like that
Place I play has a deal. If its a 4 dollar booster pack you can buy 1 for 4 or 3 for 11 or 6 for 20.
$3.43 USD at my LGS. Lots of older sets around too, but not for same price. Everywhere from $4.50 for Mirrodin besieged to $6 unhinged to $11-12 worldwake. And some stuff as far back as super awesome homelands.
My lgs has a 3 dollar hollar lol slow play 3$ a pop, fat packs about 26-30 and boxs 90+
Man you guys are all so lucky. Here (in Australia) a booster is 6 bucks give or take.
And the rest goes up from there.
Fat packs at $60, booster boxes at $160.
Have a look at a site called Good Games in Sydney if you wanna see comparable prices. (One of the official MtG sites in Australia)
Pretty much every plainswalker is over $30 some of the swords were fetching $40-60 and primeval Titan sat at around $50-60 until right now when he is rotating (dropped to $25)
It's a sellers market over here. As if the mark up wasn't crazy already. (Oh and our dollar is currently fetching 1.04US$)
My lgs has packs at 4.99 but buy 2 and you get a third for free. So around 3.33 a pack I think.
Hah, card shops seem to take out a hefty profit :P
I wonder what the price is for storeowners.
Infinite divinity you should totally open a store with lower prices ;D

Not really, the local LGS for me just doesn't make enough to be able to give any significant discounts, they'd go out of business.
Blame gov't taxes and people being cheap when it comes Magic. They just can't compete with online stores that don't have nearly the same expenses.
Well maybe not "profit" per say but i mean that to buy boosters from wizzards as a grocer theres probably atleast a 30% mark up most likely.

You guys are eating all the shipping cost. What bullshit. Hit eBay and buy your stuff cheaper. But then again I don't know how much it's gonna cost to ship to you.
Unless you buy basically pallets of booster cases, you're looking at $85 per booster box straight from Wizards, iirc
