If I play a {Phyrexian Dreadnought} can I sac it real quick with a {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord}?

Actually, you can. Cast it, when the ETB trigger is on the stack, sac it to Jarad, then when the dreadnought's ability resolves, choose not to sac 12 power.

Would be an excellent play.
