{Archaeomancer} + {Rite of Replication} + {Talrand Sky Summoner} Working on this combo for my mono blue...
Anyway Rite of Repliaction Archaeomancer while Talrands in play. Return rite to your hand using Archaeomancer and slowly get an army of 1/2 's and Drakes!
In Blue/White put a few {Crusader of Odric} onto the field to get a creature engine going.
In RTR Selesnya's new ability is populate (Put a token onto the battlefield thats a copy of a creature token you control).
So if you take a look at {Grove of the Guardian} think of the possibilities of having an army of 8/8's at your service!
Then you could get a system working with {Trostani, Selysnya's Voice} . HELL. YEAH.
{Exoskeletal Armor} + {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} Well this one explains itself really...
{Falkenrath Exterminator} + {Experiment Kraj} or {Primal Cocoon}
This combo (synergy) triiggers game winners if you can hold out long enough.
Exalted Deck + {Silent Arbiter} This will give you the upper hand in exalted while HUGELY disadvantanging (if thats a word) your opponent!
It's been done before lol actually my buddy used to do this combo until he started using the {birthing pod} combo
After birthing pod is out sac the {blood artist} or {butchered ghoul} into a {geralph's messenger} then sac the messenger into {phyrexian metamorph} rinse and repeat
Also if you have any {grave crawlers} out sac them into {phantasmal image}

I've had them explained to me, and I still don't know the difference :P. Hashtag stoopid
Synergies are using the cards for their designed purposes together with other cards to achieve harmonious benefits.
Combos are using cards in abstract ways that they weren't really designed for to achieve crazy stuff.
IMHO
I also find that many combos involve sequences of actions or loops, and often can repeat indefinitely.
Throw in {blood artist} for a wincon.
