Title: Blood Artist
Post by: Willthomjr on September 13, 2012, 12:37:37 AM
{Blood Artist}

HOLY CRAP!!!

2.24 for an uncommon! Wow!

I just happen to have 9 of them. Wish I knew who needed them.

Besides {senseis diving top}..what other uncommons ended up being really good?

{Rancor}. Not as insane as the above 2, but 3 bucks for a current-set common is pretty nutty to me. As amazing as the card may be.

We have this thing called Potential Trades, you know ;) Putting the guy in your Trade Binder would be a good start ;)

Cards like these is the reason I buy common/uncommon playsets for $35+/- when a new set comes out.   Eventually just 1 or 2 cards will pay you back......not to mention the usefulness of having them :)

Derp, I meant uncommon, my mistake. It was common in urza's though and still has a price tag of over $2 - not many commons manage that! {delver of secrets} will probably get there when it leaves print though.

I've been making elf decks and getting hold of {imperious perfect} was costly. It seems like several creatures from Lorwyn were kind of spendy.

I love Elves so much!!! I have an Elf EDH and 2 Elf "Duel Decks" that I made that are chocked full of Onslaught Block Elves and the Elves from my EDH that rotate due to me constantly trying to Foil out the deck. Lorwyn Block has some damn good Elves! But I think Onslaught is just ridiculous. True that on the {Imperious Perfect} though.

Elves have been a fun new tribe (I've been trying to branch out from white and blue). And you're right about onslaught! It has some dynamite elves. I got my playset of {elvish vanguard} in the mail just this week. In fact, onslaught gives love to many of my favorite tribes (clerics, soldiers, illusions, goblins). Suffice to say, I agree with you, Infinitive.
